Are you an account manager or communicator with an interest in rural spaces, a strong drive to keep your clients thrilled, and a knack for coordinating resources toward the fulfillment of promises made? If so, we have an opportunity for you!
Pioneer Utility Resources and its communications subsidiaries work to support the efforts of rural electric and telecommunications companies across the U.S. as they engage with their communities. We are seeking an account manager to support our members/customers and the various communication programs we provide them.
This is not a project manager or sales role, but one that requires exceptional listening skills and creative understanding of how to bring Pioneer's solutions to the table to help our members achieve their mission of service.
As an account manager, you will help your clients achieve their marketing and communications goals by gaining a deep understanding of their challenges and leveraging our company’s many strengths to meet them. You will remain fully engaged with your clients to deliver on-time projects, strategy, and insights. You will also work with the larger Pioneer team to translate client needs into comprehensive strategic plans and well-executed deliverables. You embody the statement, “We serve so others can shine.”
Stay in frequent communication with your assigned clients/members, maintaining high availability and responsiveness. You are reliable and your clients know they can depend on you.
Lead member strategy meetings and assess the challenges and needs of the utility and the communicator. You are a listener, and you’ve done your homework before you walk into the meeting.
Practice thought leadership and offer creative, strategic concepts.
Help ensure client/member satisfaction, retention and expanded use of Pioneer Utility Resource’s products and services. You help bring value by bringing new resources to the table to help our members meet their goals.
Strategize with the Director of Accounts and others across the larger organization to produce effective marketing campaigns. You’re not afraid of asking for help, reaching across teams, and getting the best results.
Lead teammates through creative sessions to brainstorm ideas for visual and editorial direction on campaigns and individual projects that will wow your clients/members.
Present creative work to clients and translate feedback and requested revisions to our team. You know how to explain the vision to a client, and how to help us understand and improve when we’ve missed the mark.
Work with Member Solutions staff to inform clients of new offerings.
Other duties as assigned.
