We are a dynamic, growing cooperative with more than 800 employees operating out of eight office locations.
JOB SUMMARY:
Create greater awareness among NRTC’s electric cooperative members of its mission and desire to serve as their trusted technology advisor through in-person and phone-based communications. Identify key personnel, develop rapports with them, and understand their needs and challenges. Recognize opportunities to address those needs with NRTC products and services offering. Provide feedback when a member has a need that cannot be addressed by an existing NRTC product or service.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Develop contacts at identified electric cooperatives by daily outbound cold calling, visits to member locations, and travel to meetings and industry events
Work closely with NRTC Regional Business Managers to identify and execute a strategy that fits their regions and goals
Assist in all aspects of the pre-sales process cycle including prospecting, cultivating?leads, setting appointments, creating needs assessment, identifying opportunities in our contact management system, and ensuring follow up activities
Track all activity in contact management system on a daily basis
Align with internal resources to create?and convert marketing qualified leads?to?sales opportunities,?coordinating?NRTC division?sales funnels and lead generation efforts?to?move new opportunities?into the sales cycle
Work with marketing to coordinate messaging and reach outs to specific campaigns
Assist?and help?coordinate preparing standard quotations and proposal information as needed
Utilize tools available for driving interest and exposure (LinkedIn, Seamless AI, Sales Navigator)
Learn about new developments and trends in the electric industry
Coordinate online-based presentations and information sessions, for prospects regarding services

KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE:
Preferred: Experience?tracking tasks, progress, and results using a CRM tool, such as?Salesforce, NetSuite, or SugarCRM?
Knowledge of various aspects of the telecommunications industry and be able to operate in technologies such as?Broadband,?Cable, Telco, VoIP, Wireless, and SMB?
Advanced knowledge of industry software and hardware terminology and?concepts
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Work is typically performed in a remote office setting?
