Job Summary
As a Senior Project Manager, you will leverage your experience working with Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI) to coordinate all aspects related to AMI system deployments for NRTC’s electric members. As an individual contributor, you will be responsible for coordinating activities between rural electric cooperatives, regional sales staff, product engineering, internal order processing, accounting, external partners, and others, as necessary, to successfully deploy AMI systems. The Senior Project Manager will actively manage 5 - 7 projects and follow up on inactive/completed projects in a combination of Project Management, Sales Engineer, and Product Management roles.
You will bring an understanding of AMI, a knowledge and understanding of wireless systems and FCC license regulations related to terrestrial communication products, services, and applications. The successful Senior Project Manager will possess the ability to lead multiple simultaneous projects, actively monitor and track key performance indices across managed projects, ensure effective billing completion, identify, and implement new services.
Responsibilities
Provide leadership, guidance, and coaching to project team
Act as NRTC’s primary interface to our members, develop a trusted, collaborative partnership with the member and project team
Plan, coordinate and track the deployment of member Radio Frequency (RF) based Advanced Metering Infrastructure systems
Lead and mentor junior staff in all aspects of AMI deployments
Identify vendor/partner resources required for successful deployment
Prepare and present weekly and/or periodic project updates as required by member and NRTC leadership
Resolve deployment issues to the members’ satisfaction
Analyze statistics on all projects, create trend analysis
Monitor, track and report project revenue and forecasts based on shipments
Monitor all projects services delivered and ensure billing for all services
Process development in support of AMI program

Qualifications
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Self-Starter, fast learner, works well in a team environment with multiple stakeholders
Linux and Windows systems administration experience desired
Familiarity with IP network administration desired
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Excellent organizational and presentation skills
Ability and desire to work collaboratively in a multi-team, multi-company environment
Ability to budget and prepare financial updates
Demonstrated ability to resolve conflicts and maintain positive relationships with internal and external clients
Professional demeanor
Minimum Education and Experience

Proficient in application of project management tracking tools
Physical Demands
Ability to travel up to 15%
Ability to sit and/or stand for long periods of time
This position is performed in a remote setting
