Position Summary
This Engineering Services Sales Specialist will lead the charge for generating sales and relationships throughout the industry, particularly within the Electric Cooperative space, and is accountable to achieve sales quota within their territory. CHR is seeking to rapidly grow these services with a highly motivated and energized individual who looks forward to the challenge of helping to build and grow our business.
Some of the services delivered by the Engineer Services are: Network Planning & Design, GIS/CAD Services, Outside Plan Design, Fiber to the Premise, Feasibility Studies, Loan & Grant Assistance and Grounding Audits.
Primary Accountabilities
Achieve Order Value sales quota as defined in the 2022 Performance Pay Compensation Plan, for Engineering Services to new Clients as the first priority.
Responsible for prospecting, presenting and closing deals that provide new and profitable revenue to CHR.
Meet or exceed monthly, quarterly and annual revenue objectives within assigned sales territory.
Manage all aspects of the sales cycle including qualification of opportunities, development of a sales strategy, and coordination of all sales team resources, final negotiation and closing of business.
Identify and pursue target clients in the assigned territory.
Expand service provided to existing clients.
Keep up to date information in CHR's systems of record.
Accountable for CHR's response RFP's for the assigned solution or services.
Develop and deliver non-biding proposals.
Education and Experience Requirements
4 years Bachelor’s degree, MBA a plus.
Minimum of 5 years technical sales experience in the telecom preferably broadband industry.
Proven track record of successful sales growth.
Excellent interpersonal communication skills, outgoing and the ability to interact with all personality types.
Excellent verbal and written English skills.
Strong negotiation skills.
Ability to qualify sales opportunities, apply knowledge of clients need and establish a value proposition that results in new business.
Ability to effectively utilize MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook).
