Job OverviewThe GIS Mapper is responsible for the documentation and mapping of all fiber outside plant construction. The GIS Mapper is also responsible for staking new installations for both residential and commercial customer deployments. GIS Mapper notes fiber assignment and assists in the development of the connection model from the NOC’s to the service points, noting all splice points, and ensures accuracy as any design are revised or redlined. The GIS Mapper works with Luminate team to assist in the understanding of outside plant construction, modification, and deployment.
