What We're Looking For Basic Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in journalism, communications or equivalent experience
1-2 years of professional journalism experience
Knowledge of the communications, media and information technology industries a big advantage
Knowledge of federal and state agency process and policy, as well as legislative procedures a plus
Ability to write quickly and clearly under deadline pressure
Ability to generate exclusives, breaking news as well as informative feature stories
Command of journalistic standard methodology (AP style, libel issues, etc.)
Strong analytical skills
