Do it here. What you’ll be doing... Verizon is one of the largest communications technology companies in the world. We create the networks that move the world forward. We leverage our 4G LTE and 5G network, Multi-Access Edge Computing (MEC) platform, and broadband/fiber infrastructure to power solutions that connect society and businesses such as Managed Security, Public Safety, Smart Cities, Internet of Things, among others. The Verizon Business Group’s (VBG) Strategy and Business Development team, is responsible for developing and implementing strategies and initiatives that lead to improvements in customer satisfaction, revenue growth, cost, and operational efficiencies, which ultimately drives shareholder returns. To achieve those goals, the VBG Strategy team works cross-functionally with business unit leaders, other corporate stakeholders (i.e. Finance, Network, Product, Corporate Development, etc.), and external constituents to generate near, mid, and long-term growth strategies. In this role, you will rely on your quantitative/qualitative, executive leadership, and innovative thinking skills to lead VBG’s governance activities, as well as develop strategic recommendations to drive growth and profitability for the business. The portfolio of work spans across all of VBG’s go-to-market units: Global Enterprise, Small and Medium Business, Public Sector, and Wholesale.
