We’re growing—and we’re looking for a Network Engineer I or II who’s ready to grow with us.
What You’ll Be Doing
You’ll play a key role in engineering and maintaining statewide telecommunication systems, including:
Designing and supporting networks using:
SR-MPLS, MPLS, MPLS-TP
BGP, OSPF, ISIS
RSTP, MSTP, G.8032
TDM, WDM, GPON, XPON
Supporting wireless systems, Dedicated Internet Access (DIA), and Over-the-Top (OTT) services.
Performing feasibility studies, cost/benefit analyses, and project management for broadband expansion.
Maintaining antenna structures and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
Collaborating with service providers, contractors, and internal teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
What We’re Looking For
Essential Skills:
Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and passion for technology
Preferred Qualifications:
AS/BS degree in engineering or a related technical field
Certifications in routing, switching, or firewall technologies
Experience with IP routing, MPLS, and service provider network design
Familiarity with AutoCAD and FAA Remote Pilot Certification (for UAS)
